Dear brothers and sisters,

Multiply and conquer, says Sheik Abdul Raheem Green, (amongst some other jiberrish from his aussie pal Sheik Mohammed Omran):

“The birth rate in the Western countries is going down. People are more interested in their careers . . . they don’t want to have babies,” Sheik Green says in the DVD.

“So don’t you think, Muslim brothers and sisters, we’ve got a bit of an opportunity here? They’re not having babies any more. So what if, instead, we have the babies?”

Sheik Muhammed “The Aussie Connection” Omran, by the way, appears to have Osama envy issues, believes “100%” the US government is behind the September 11 attacks, praises suicide bombers and calls Australia “rubbish because women walk down the street not wearing veils and the men drink”. Rubbish indeed. What is this degenerate still doing in this country?

Coerce and intimidate, says the ‘Real Khilafa’:

[..]
We call upon our fellow youth to come and join us in our mission for universal and global Islam.

The job is big but nothing is impossible.

If the kafir non-believer does not accept by gentle persuasion or gentle reasoning then other methods which are allowed for in the holy Quran must be used as going to war with the kafir or converting them by manipulation. We need to send out our boys to bring the Sikh girls into the arms of the community of Islam.

This task is getting easier by the day, as the Sikh and Hindu girls are not taught (as is done in Islam) much about their religion at all. They have a more westernized upbringing, and the school, college and university campus is the ideal place for our youth to carry out their duties easily in this way.

It is easy to take the Sikh girls out on a date as they generally like a good drink and from there gradually they can be bought into Islam. This is not a hard job at all, as the kafir women they like Moslems. Hardly surprising as we are attractive and intelligent compared with kafirs. This is common sense and everybody knows. Otherwise, why would Indian films have so many Moslem actors. There is not a single Hindu or Sikh actor in Pakistani films.
[..]

Reality check for the Real Khilafah: You really aren’t going to win the Statistics on Islamic achievement in India game. Don’t go there. And don’t get your twelve year old brother to write your propaganda for you anymore, either. I think “Oh, and we’re fully sick!” would have gotten the meaning of that last paragraph across just as well, without all the embarassing factual and grammatical errors.

Here’s a scan of the actual letter the above is from. It was being handed out to Muslim youths in London, and was accidentally given to a Sikh teenager. Five years later, here’s the result.

Debate and frustrate, says… who?:

HOW TO DEBATE AND FRUSTRATE INFIDELS
by Ayesha Ahmed

Dear brothers and sisters in islam:

We live in kuffar country and daily we have to face the infidels who criticize islam and our prophet, and who want to debate us. In an Islamic country if some one did that all we have to do is to announce loudly what he said and the rest is taken care of by an angry mob. The critic is lynched in no time. End of the story. However here we don’t have that luxury as yet. Inshallah in forseeble future after we grow by conversions of morons and criminals in prisons, legal and illegal immigration and procreation we will, inshallah, become a majority and will not have to face this problem on daily basis. However, for the time being following is an approach all muslim brothers and sisters can use when faced with such a pest. Jazakallah Khair. Inshallah the vermin will steer clear of you in future.

1. A popular question is “why islam calls for death of Islamic critics and apostates”. Insist that their info is false. Quote aya “to you your religion and to me my religion”.

2. To answer “Islam spread with sword”, say that it is a big lie spread by the jews and hindus and that quran clearly says ” there is no compulsion in religion”.

3. If some one quotes violent ayas from Koran, accuse him of quoting ayas in bits and pieces and cherry picking .

4. If he then quotes full ayas and ayas before and after, than insist that the translation is wrong.

5. If he brings ten different translations than say correct meanings can be understood only by reading Quran in Arabic.

6. If he happens to be well versed in Arabic language than insist that those ayas don’t mean what they appear to mean as they have allegorical meanings.

7. If he is adamant, than say you cannot understand those ayas and it’s context without reading hadith and sira.

8.. If he shows up with the hadiths and siras in hand and quotes the context of the violent ayas by referring to hadiths of prophet’s rapes, robberies , assassinations and genocides then insist that “all hadiths and siras are heresay and are false, and only truth is in quran.

9. If he says Quran is a man made document and wants proof of it’s divinity then refer to the sciences in Quran and the book written by Dr. Bucaile confirming the sciences in our holy book. You can also quote that Mahatama Gandhi read Quran daily and also spoke highly of it.

10. If he says that Bucaile was on Saudi payroll and that nor he nor Gandhi ever changed their religions and that Bucaile was challenged and proven wrong by many experts then challenge him to ask his experts to debate islamists like Zakir Naik..

11. If the pests still hangs around then change the topic and find faults in other religions and their books.

12. If he continues on then use personal attacks and insult him by calling him a jewish a- hole , a Chinese pig or a hindu dog .

13. If that does not frustrate him, then ask him how much he is being paid by jews to throw dirt on Al Islam.

14. If he still does not stop then run for his mother and sister and use very filthy language.

15. If he is very stubborn and wants to continue, then curse him like “Burn in hell, you will repent on last day, Allah will get you in your grave” etc

16. When all of the above has failed, threaten him with bodily harm and end the debate by drum beating and announcing that you won the debate hands down because Koran is the word of allah.

17. If possible anounce about this debate in an islamist website and that you had won it handily. Such announcements do wonders for the iman of muslim website readers and for dawah operations in prisons to convince low IQ prisoners of the truth of Al Islam.

If that fails tell ‘em the bit about there being no Hindu or Sikh actors in Pakistani films. Don’t mention that noone outside of Pakistan has ever seen a Pakistani film. Or that there are virtually no Hindus of Sikhs left in Pakistan. Don’t mention why that is.

Sharia law is perfect and “Everything you have in the West is wrong”, says an Irish revertard (much, much more in that article):

“The ultimate goal of every Muslim is to establish Sharia law over the whole Earth,” he says. “It is a superior way of life, and every Muslim living in the UK has an obligation to call for Sharia law to be implemented.

“We believe in jihad, which literally means to struggle. It is not allowed for a Muslim to obey a man-made system of laws that is prone to errors.

“Sharia law is a perfect system of divine law and order that the whole world should live under.

“Everything you have in the West is wrong. We should be in charge over you. If Sharia law prevailed, it would change everything.

“Alcohol would be outlawed and it would be illegal for any woman to leave the house unless she had her whole body and head covered. Everything would change for the better – it is sadly and badly needed.”

Kelly holds in high esteem the men who carried out the 7/7 bombings in London. “The martyrs who carried out the bombings on July 7 were praiseworthy and correct.

“We have to spread Sharia law and put fear into the head of the enemy.”

To which Diogenes Lamp comments:

Not every Muslim in the West thinks like this, but if one in a hundred does, we have got a big problem. It’s no point saying that the Muslims who would come to Australia would want nothing to do with Sharia law. It’s the children who are the problem.

Should there be some expulsion procedure for those who have effectively declared themselves to be enemies of the state?

I’d say we most certainly have a problem. Diana West explains.

Animated Maps: Empires of the the Middle East and the world’s religions through the ages.

I found the following maps quite fascinating.

“Imperial History of the Middle East
“Who has conquered the Middle East over the course of world events? See 5,000 years of history in 90 seconds”:

History of Religion: The geography of faith and its wars across history. See 5,000 years of religion in 90 seconds”:

The above two are from the Maps of War site. They have some more maps here.

Animation of the spread of religions across Afro-Eurasia over centuries.”
This one covers the last 2,000 years:

spread of religions

Why the Muslims world was left behind.

Case study India. From a recent commentary on the Sachar report from the Indian media:

The problem of Muslim backwardness and under representation in public services is a fact but this is not a problem of independent India. In 1878 Sir Syed had said that “Muslims had derived least benefit from European sciences and literature” and in 1882 appearing before the Education Commission of the Central Legislative Council presented voluminous evidence to show almost negligible Muslim presence among the graduates of Calcutta University. According to his memo there was no Muslim among 6 Doctors of Law and 4 Honors in Law. Among the Bachelors and Licentiates of Law there were 8 out of 705 and 5 out 235 respectively. Likewise in Engineering and Medicine there was not a single Muslim graduate. In MA there were 5 Muslims out of 326 and in BA there were only 30 out of 1343. The memo pointed out that based on the population covered by Calcutta University the number of Muslim graduates should have been 1262 whereas they actually were just 57. On the basis of these figures Sir Syed pleaded not for job reservation but government help in initiating programs for their educational betterment. It is worth noting that this memorandum was presented just 24 years after the formal collapse of uninterrupted Muslim rule for almost 800 years.

Before presenting these figures to the commission it was pointed out that “in 1824 when Government decided to start a Sanskrit College in Calcutta, the Hindu leaders met under the leadership of Raja Ram Mohan Roy and demanded that they did not want Sanskrit College to be established by Government but wanted that it should start English colleges as far as possible. On the other hand in 1835, after 11 years when the Mohammedans came to know that Government intends to start English teaching in all schools, they submitted an application signed by 8000 Moulvis of Calcutta to stop it. Muslims vehemently opposed the new system of education believing that the philosophy and logic taught in English was at variance with the tenets of Islam. They looked upon the study of English as little less than embracing of Christianity.”

Later at the time of starting Committee for diffusion of knowledge among Muslims Sir Syed said “it was a matter of deep regret that Muslims considered their religion which was so great and enlightened, weak enough to be endangered by the study of western literature and science.”

The problem is one of bigotry, not weakness.

The following observations on the topic are from a book by Abdullah Dougan, a New Zealander, who converted to Islam and was made a Shaikh of the Naqshibandi Sufi Order, by its leader in the late 60s (note the Wikipedia entry does not distinguish between Shaikh – teacher and Sheikh – leader). The book is called “40 Days: An Account of a Discipline” and recounts Abdullah’s undertaking of a 40 day fast on water alone in India and Afghanistan in 1974, accompanied by two of his students, Zaid and Abdul, also from New Zealand. The second half of the book follows his Hajj journey to Saudi Arabia, that immediately followed the fast:

Q [Abdul]: Why is that so many Muslims we have met are so bigoted?
A [Abdullah Dougan]: Islam was a rallying cry for the people of the desert to give up their evil ways of drunkenness and idolatry. The Holy Prophet had a very illeterate rabble to deal with and the strongest weapon he could use was fear, reward and punishment, so this is what he concentrated on. As can be seen from history it was very effective, for in less that a hundred years Isam was challenging the known world of the day. Because of the Law of Seven [TOD: an esoteric concept governing the atrophy of processes devoid of conscious guidance], anything based on fear, reward and punishment must contain the seeds of its own destruction, and that is what you are seeing with those who persist in talking about the religion on the surface instead of seeing deeper to the truth within.”

And his observations while in Afghanistan:

As in all Muslims countries the boys are completely spoiled, so they have inculcated into them the idea of male superiority and selfishness, a combination which produces generally completely unbalanced, egotistical men. The brothers [TOD: refers to Abdullah and his companions] found them always talking down, quoting parrot-fashion from the Koran to prove any point, leaving out any alternative statements which may have contradicted their conditioning. This lack of real intellect on the part of the Muslims generally gives them no discernment to enable them to bring the wonderful ideas of the Holy Prophet into the correct perspective. Like the Christian, Buddhist or any other religion, Islam has contained in it great truths and gives a way for its adherents to follow.

What is every religion trying to do for its followers? The main objective must be to lead to a complete understanding of and relationship with God, by whatever name they call Him. The great majority of Muslims are bigots, believing there is no way except theirs, and that the Holy Prophet is the last for all time. If anybody reflects on this assertion they will become aware of the colossal vanity and egotism involved. This goes for most religions; but I believe, as the Taoists, that though there are many and tortuous ways, they all lead to God.

I will post most more from Abdullah and his students shortly.

Now, back to India and the present and we see that not much has changed in over a century (via Judith Apter Klinghoffer), as the above mentioned Sachar report found:

“Compared to the national average of 43% of people not having land in rural areas, that of Muslims is 60.2%. Only 2.1% of Muslim farmers have tractors, while just 1% own hand pumps. Educationally, 54.6% of Muslims in villages and 60% in urban areas have never been to schools. The national average for this is 40.8% in rural areas and 19.9% in urban. In rural areas, only 0.8% of Muslims are graduates, while in urban areas despite 40% of the Muslims receiving modern education only 3.1% are graduates. Only 1.2% of Muslims are post-graduates in urban areas.”

And yet the bigotry lives on, thrives even, assisted by its own blindness. The following is from Subramanian Swamy, a Hindu politician and former Union Law Minister:

“Thanks to Shri Vedantamji of the VHP, I had visited Thondi and Rasathipuram Municipalities of Ramanathapuram and Vellore districts respectively, and was truly shocked by what I saw. Both these municipalities are in Muslim-majority areas, and the local bodies election had empowered the Muslims with their capture of the municipalities.

The Muslim-ruled municipalities have thereafter converted these areas into mini Dar-ul-Islams, in a Hindustan of 83 per cent Hindus! The minority Hindu areas of the municipality were thus denied civic amenities, funds for schools, garbage clearing etc., and sent notices in Urdu. Hindus were bluntly told convert to Islam if they wanted civic facilities.

I could not believe that in South India this was possible where Hindus are actually above national average at 90 per cent of the population. I know that in Kashmir Valley, Muslims who are in majority have actively or passively connived in driving out half a million Hindus out of their homes and made them refugees in their own country. Temples have been demolished in the Valley on a daily basis. The world could not care less. An American had once told me: “Why should we care? Indian democracy is led by the majority who are Hindus and you want us to talk about the human rights of the community of rulers?”

Such atrocities are happening not only in Kashmir, but in other parts of India as well in pockets wherever Muslims are in majority, e.g., Mau and Meerut. In pocket boroughs of India, thus, Dar-ul-Islam has today returned to India after two centuries. Considering that a demographic re-structuring is slowly but surely taking place, with Hindu majority shrinking everywhere, Dar-ul-Islam in pockets might indeed, like amoeba, proliferate, coalesce, and jell into a frightening national reality—unless we Hindus wake up and take corrective action now, actions for which we shall of course not get a Nobel Peace Prize.

Swamy then makes a blunt and honest summation of the situation in India (in contrast to the delusional Indian elites):

[..] Secular order in India thus is possible only when Muslims are not in power. Thondi, Rasathipuram and other places prove that the Muslim mind suffers from a dangerous duality—of seeking secularism when out of power and imposing a brutal demeaning theocracy for non-Muslims when in power.

It is understandable that the Indians are worried, as Hugh Fitzgerald wrote yesterday:

Everywhere Islam has conquered, those conquered have emerged, when left with their lives, to live lives that are far more impoverished in every important way — either as non-Muslim dhimmis, or as converts to Islam. Islam limits artistic expression, stifles the free and skeptical inquiry without which real science is impossible, and cripples the lives of women. Islam stunts mental growth. We need make no apologies to others or to ourselves for coming to this melancholy conclusion, so much at odds with the official ideology that we have been subjected to — that everyone is the same, that all religions and peoples are equal in every way, that no one must ever ever challenge the self-evident truth of any of this.

Australian secularism gone too far? (And other Australian Census-related curiosities)

Tonight is census night, and the hottest question on the paper for Australia as always is going to be the one about religion.

Will Jedi finally be recognised as an official faith (70,000 registered Jedi in 2001)? And who will win the race for the fastest growing religion (last time it was Buddhism with a growth from 200,000 to 360,000 in 5 years)? Danna Vale will no doubt be anxiously awaiting confirmation that “Australia is going to be a Muslim nation in 50 years’ time”. As will the Muslims.

Meanwhile, it appears that our younger generation is turning away from organised religion, according to a three-year national study, jointly done by Monash University, the Australian Catholic University and the Christian Research Association:

Researchers conducted the random survey with 1619 people. Of those, 1272 were aged 13 to 24 and the rest were aged 25 to 59.

University of NSW Emeritus Professor of sociology and anthropology Clive Kessler said the results reflected the secular and sceptical nature of Australian society.

A QUESTION OF SPIRIT

  • 48 per cent of Generation Y believe in a god.
  • 20 per cent do not believe in a god.
  • 32 per cent are unsure.
  • 19 per cent of Generation Y are actively involved in a church.
  • 17 per cent have an eclectic spirituality, believing in two or more “New Age”, esoteric or eastern beliefs, including reincarnation, psychics and astrology.
  • 31 per cent can be classified as humanists, rejecting the idea of a god, although a few believe in a “higher being”.

(EDIT: html error was cutting out a paragraph or two here…)

The process is not going fast enough for some people:

Greens call for secular alternative to religion classes

The New South Wales Greens are calling on the State Government to offer students a non-religious alternative to school scripture classes.

Greens education spokesman John Kaye says the deal between the Government and churches to have one hour of religious instruction in public schools needs to be re-examined.

Mr Kaye says it is time that school students were offered a secular alternative to the one-hour scripture class.

“The deal dates back 126 years to 1880 and for all that time the churches have had a monopoly on religious instruction in public schools,” he said.

“This is not appropriate, it doesn’t match the needs of our community.

“It doesn’t match the diversity of world views held by the people in Australia.”

At the other end of the spectrum the Family First party is gaining in popularity and a coalition of Christian MPs is fighting back against the ultra-secularists:

CHRISTIANITY has been under “consistent attack” and should be re-established as the dominant belief system in Australia.

This argument was mounted yesterday by more than a dozen politicians of all hues at a Christian conference in Canberra.

Former Nationals leader John Anderson, president of the Parliamentary Christian Fellowship, opened the 300-strong Christian forum at Parliament House last night, saying secularism had gone too far.

“I think we confuse in the public mind very much what we really are, and certainly our government is secular,” he said. “It’s actually a Christian concept that you should separate church and state — it’s one of the great differences between us and Muslim societies.

‘What is a secular value system? I could argue the extreme case, that a secular value system gave us World WarII via Nazism.”

One reason for the decline of Christianity in Australia may be all the bad press its been getting for… well, for as long as anyone can remember really. And one approach for getting bums back onto pews that is currently being tried in the UK is apparently to “take ‘religion’ out of church”:

For those who are curious about Christianity but disillusioned by the institutional Church, there is a novel solution – drop the religion.

The Rev Ian Gregory, a cleric well known to readers of The Daily Telegraph for launching the Campaign for Courtesy in an attempt to improve manners, has embarked on a new project which he calls “Christianity without religion”.

Out goes the “archaic mumbo-jumbo” of church services and the “silly arguments about things that don’t and shouldn’t matter”; in come chats about anything that makes you feel good and the world’s first dedicated “laughter room” because “laughter is as important as prayer”.

..

“People are fed up with religion. The bar-room talk is that it causes too much trouble in the world. But people are intrigued by spirituality and by figures such as Jesus and Buddha.”, [thats the Rev speaking]

..

Not laughing is man of the moment and dedicated Catholic, Mel Gibson, an expert in “anything that makes you feel good”:

In a compelling interview on US television two years ago, Gibson admitted that he has many times thought of ending his suffering. Asked if he had thought of jumping out of a window, he replied: “I really did, yeah. I was looking down thinking, man, this is just easier this way. You have to be mad, you have to be insane to despair in that way. But that is the height of spiritual bankruptcy. There’s nothing left.” For someone punching the time clock for a few shekels a week, it seems rather ridiculous that a man with an estimated wealth of more than $1 billion would feel this way.

“Let’s face it, I’ve been to the pinnacle of what secular utopia has to offer,” Gibson told ABC TV in the US. “It’s just this kind of everything. I’ve got money, fame, this, that and the other, you know, and it’s all been like, whoosh here, here you go, like that. And it’s like, OK. And when I was younger, I got my proboscis out and I dipped it into the font and sucked it up, all right. It didn’t matter, there wasn’t enough, it wasn’t good enough. It’s not good enough. It leaves you empty. The more you eat the emptier you get.

“I think everybody in their life gets to a point where that happens. Where they get to the moment of truth and they go, ‘Well, what is this all about? Am I going to jump? Am I going to go on? I don’t want to do either. I don’t want to live. I don’t want to die.’ You ask yourself all those Hamlet questions.”

Another interesting tidbit I dug up about Australia is that in a recent study some social scientists looking at actual governmental practices in regards to various religious groups gave Australia a government favouritism index of 0 out 10 towards the “official or preferred religion”. Ie, no favouritism at all. Taiwan was the only other country that scored 0. In comparison Afghanistan, Iceland, Belgium, Greece and Spain all somehow scored 7.8, Denmark got 6.7 and Finland 6. The average score for Western nation was in fact higher than the score for Syria.

I shall seek to maintain our glorious null favouritism index and wish all of the above interest groups the best of luck in tonights race. May the force be with you!

UPDATE: Saint at Dogfight In Bankstown alerted me to one lot I missed. The Assemblies of God are also in the running with a campaign to get their own checkbox on the form, instead of just being lumped into the “Other – please specify” basket. Good luck with that one also. Its between you and the Jedi, I reckon.

It was definitely a quantity not quality day when I wrote this post.

“Pakistan: Geopolitical epicentre of Islamist jihad”

This article by Maloy Krishna Dhar, the former Indian Intelligence Bureau (I.B.) Joint Director, gives a fascinating insight into how the global Jihad is looking from India’s pespective. Maloy Krishna Dhar is also the author of “Open Secrets: India’s Intelligence Unveiled” and “Mission to Pakistan: An Intelligence Agent in Pakistan”.

Here’s an extract:

..

However, India has not been able to cope with the threat from regional and global Islamist jihadist forces. This multidimensional cancer travels through the arterial system of the country along the scarred tissues of fractures and carcinogenic gaps left by the neurosis of pre and post independence philisophy and the unassimilated edges of history.

The Pakistani establishment and the ISI have deftly exploited these gaps and unmatched edges in collaboration with the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence of Bangladesh and the Islamic tanzeems patronised by them.

Journeying through the Afghan killing fields, tangoing with the Taliban and Al Qaeda and resurgent global Islamist thrusts, Pakistan has emerged as the geopolitical epicentre of Islamist jihad with a binary centre in Bangladesh.

Extension of Pakistan’s proxy war through jihadist tanzeem tools to all conceivable corners of India is a part of its strategic war plan — mostly carried out through subversive terrorist attacks and sometimes with a Kargil-type forward thrust.

It is, nonetheless, part of a planned war.

India’s internal security and the seams of national unity and solidarity have been repeatedly threatened by jihadist operations carried out by ISI and DGFI-aided Pakistani and Bangladeshi tanzeems. This war, under the facet of peace, is about to invade every Indian home.

On a scale of one to ten, the jihadi tanzeems and handful Indian collaborators score success in about eight-and-a-half cases. The Indian intelligence agencies and state police forces can claim success in about two-and-a-half or three cases. On the scale of the law of averages, this is classified as failure.

Why do we fail in over 85 per cent of cases? We fail because:

With minor exceptions the political class — the presumed custodian, driver and preserver of the Constitutional Democratic Republic — fails to recognise that India exist beyond ballot boxes.

On either side of the imaginary ’secular fence’, there is an abominable amnesia about the historical roots of the jihadist thrust against India from Pakistan, Bangladesh and other global jihadist tanzeems. They communalise or trivialise the grave threat to national security, unity and integrity by throwing mud on each other with squinted eyes on the bulge of the ballot box.

The threat is not about ’secularism’ or ‘Hindu Muslim divide’; this is all about an undeclared multidimensional war involving India (irrespective of community and religion), Pakistan and Bangladesh, overlorded by International Islamic Jihadist Inc, represented by Al Qaeda al Sulbah and its global franchisees.

Political parties on either side of the imaginary ’secular fence’ (like the Tropic of Cancer that divides India almost into two equal halves) should understand that even before partition of the subcontinent certain Islamist leaders had targeted Indian Muslims for carving out a Muslim First Nation, which they called Pakistan. The descendants of same Hulagu (grandson of Genghis Khan, who ruled over much of southwest Asia) conquistadors are targeting to divide India on communal lines, while the gullible vote-blinded politicians still cling to their ballot boxes and keep dividing the country from behind their respective Tropic of Cancer. They fail to recognise that the cancer is real, and not an imaginary geographical line.

..

Here’s also an excellent interview with Maloy Krishna Dhar after the Mumbai bombing last month.
